Dr Shivaraj Gowda has done his MBBS (1996) from MR Medical College, Gulbarga and MD Biochemistry (2000) from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He was a Research Associate in Indian Institute of Science ,Bangalore from 2000-2005. Before joining PIMS he has worked as Assistant Professor at JN Medical College, Belagavi, Associate Professor & Professor at Subbaiah Institute of Medical Sciences, Shivamogga, Professor at Malabar Medical College, Calicut
