Surg Capt Dr Rajeev A, retired Medical Officer from the Indian Navy, has 31 years of distinguished service in the Indian Armed Forces. He has served as Consultant in Pediatrics in various Indian Naval Hospitals including teaching hospitals under Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). Surg Capt Dr Rajeev A has completed his MBBS from Govt Medical College, Thrissur in 1990 and MD (Pediatrics) from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in Dec 1999. He was commissioned to Indian Navy in May 1991 and has done WHO fellowship in Neonatology for Physicians from AIIMS, New Delhi. He has been a post graduate guide at MUHS and has several publications to his credit in indexed journals During his career in Armed Forces, he received Commendation from Flag Officer Commanding in Chief (Southern Naval Command) twice for devotion to duty and Best Reviewer Award for the journal Medical Journal Armed Forces India. Surg Capt Dr Rajeev A, retired from Indian Navy in Apr 2022 and joined our institution as Professor and HOD in Department of Pediatrics in Dec 22 and elevated to Vice Principal of PIMS from July 2024.

Dr. Sheela B, retired as Principal, Govt Medical College Thrissur in April 2024, has had a distinguished and accomplished career of 37 years in the field of medical education. She has served as Principal and Vice Principal of various Govt Medical Colleges in Kerala and has accumulated valuable experience in teaching, academics, and administration while serving the medical colleges in the state. Dr Sheela B, has a strong educational foundation in MBBS and MS (Anatomy) from the reputed government medical colleges in Calicut and Kottayam. She joined Medical Education Department in 1987 as teaching faculty, Dept of Anatomy in Medical College, Thrissur. Dr Sheela has served as Professor and HOD Anatomy in Thrissur , Manjeri and Idukki and been an Undergraduate and Post Graduate examiner. She has also been the Student Advisor and Hostel Warden in the above Medical Colleges. Dr Sheela has been awarded the prestigious Best Teacher Award while at Thrissur Medical College. Dr. Sheela B, has joined our Institute as Principal in July 2024

Dr Rajan J Payyappilly has done MBBS (1984) from St Johns Medical College,MD (Microbiology) from Govt Medical College, Calicut in 1993.He has done DMV ( Post Doc) from prestigious National Institute of Pune in 1996.He was Director of State Virology Institute Kerala during 2006-2008.He was a teacher in Co –op Medical College, Kochi and ACME Pariyaram. He retired from ACME Pariyaram as Professor, Department of Microbiology in May 23.
