Anatomy

The Department of Anatomy at PIMS Hospital was established in 2009. It is primarily a teaching department, responsible for guiding and training 150 MBBS students, and numerous B.Sc. Nursing l students. The department strives to instill a genuine interest and passion for the subject by adopting diverse teaching methods and interactive learning sessions, ensuring that students find their time in the department both educational and memorable. Anatomy is taught through a three-pronged approach: Gross Anatomy through cadaver dissection Microanatomy through the projection of histology slides Embryology using charts and models
