Dr. Jayan M G is a distinguished academician and expert in Forensic Medicine, with a career spanning over two decades in medical education, medico-legal services, and academic leadership. He joined our institution in 2025 as Professor in the Department of Forensic Medicine.

Dr. Jayan completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Thrissur, in 1998. With a strong inclination toward medico-legal sciences, he pursued his MD in Forensic Medicine from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi — one of the premier medical institutes in the country.

He began his professional journey as a Tutor in the Department of Forensic Medicine at AIIMS, New Delhi, where he gained significant exposure to advanced medico-legal practices and academic methodologies. Over the years, Dr. Jayan has served in various reputed medical colleges across India, holding positions such as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. His academic contributions, clinical acumen, and dedication to forensic education have earned him recognition among students and peers alike.

Prior to joining our institution, his last assignment was with Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla, where he served as Professor of Forensic Medicine. His role involved both academic leadership and active involvement in medico-legal casework, teaching, and departmental development.

At our teaching hospital, Dr. Jayan M G continues to contribute his expertise in forensic pathology, legal medicine, and medical ethics. His rich experience and academic rigor play a vital role in shaping the next generation of medical professionals and supporting the legal and healthcare systems through his medico-legal expertise.
