Dr. Kiran K joined our institution on 22nd March 2024 as Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy. With a strong academic foundation and a solid track record in medical teaching, he brings over six years of experience in anatomical sciences and medical education.

He completed his MBBS from Kerala University in 2011 and went on to earn his MD in Anatomy from the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in 2017. He is registered with the Travancore Cochin Medical Council.

Dr. Kiran began his academic career as Assistant Professor at PK Das Institute of Medical Sciences. He subsequently served at KMCT Medical College and Government Medical College, Palakkad, gaining valuable experience in teaching, curriculum planning, and cadaveric dissection. He later held the position of Associate Professor at Karuna Medical College, where he contributed to academic leadership and departmental growth.

His teaching style is known for clarity, structure, and student engagement. He is particularly interested in developmental anatomy and neuroanatomy, and is committed to fostering a strong foundational understanding of human structure among medical students.

At PIMS, Dr. Kiran K plays an active role in advancing anatomy education, supporting academic excellence, and contributing to the overall growth of the basic sciences department.
