Introducing the Doctor

Experience:    Resident of Obstetrics and Gynecologist at Siriraj Hospital   

Dr. Ramesh K G joined our institution on 3rd October 2023 as the Professor and Head of the Department of Anatomy. He brings with him a wealth of academic experience, spanning national and international institutions, and a deep commitment to medical education.

He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Calicut, in 1989, and went on to pursue his MS in Anatomy from the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) in 1995.

Dr. Ramesh began his academic career as a Tutor at Thaimoogambhigai Dental College and Hospital, Madras. He later served as an Assistant Professor at Gulf Medical College, Ajman, where he contributed to foundational medical training in an international setting. He continued his academic journey as an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy at Dr. SMCSI Medical College, Karakonam, and later as a Professor at Institute of Medical Sciences, MSRIT.

His most recent assignment before joining our institution was at Oceania University, where he held the position of Director Associate in Basic Medical Sciences. This role added significant administrative and curriculum development experience to his already distinguished academic profile.

With over two decades of experience in teaching anatomy and managing academic departments, Dr. Ramesh K G is recognized for his clarity in teaching, structured approach to medical education, and leadership in departmental growth. He plays a pivotal role in mentoring students and guiding the academic vision of the Anatomy department at our institution.
