Dr. Sheela B joined our institution on 5th July 2024 as Principal and Professor of Anatomy. A highly respected academician and seasoned administrator, she brings with her decades of exemplary service in medical education and institutional leadership.

She previously served as the Principal of Government Medical College, Thrissur, from where she retired after a distinguished tenure. She also held the position of Principal at Government Medical College, Idukki, demonstrating consistent leadership in shaping academic standards and institutional growth.

Dr. Sheela B completed her MBBS in 1985 from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and went on to obtain her MS in Anatomy from Government Medical College, Kottayam.

She began her teaching career as a Tutor at Government Medical College, Kottayam, and advanced through the academic ranks with dedication and excellence. Over the years, she has served at several premier government medical colleges across Kerala — including Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and Government Medical College, Manjeri — in various capacities such as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in the Department of Anatomy.

Known for her commitment to academic excellence, ethical leadership, and student-centric approach, Dr. Sheela B has made significant contributions to the advancement of medical education in Kerala. Under her guidance, institutions have achieved notable progress in academic quality, faculty development, and administrative efficiency. Her vision and experience continue to steer our institution toward achieving higher standards in medical education and holistic development.
