Introducing the Doctor
Experience: Resident of Obstetrics and Gynecologist at Siriraj Hospital
Dr. Sujaya P joined our institution on 12th February 2024 as the Professor and Head of the Department of Biochemistry. She brings with her a strong academic background and several years of experience in medical teaching and departmental leadership.
She completed her MBBS in 1986, followed by an M.Sc. in Medical Biochemistry. To further enhance her expertise, she pursued and completed her MD in Biochemistry at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi.
Dr. Sujaya P began her teaching career at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences as a Tutor, and was later promoted to Assistant Professor within the same institution. She subsequently joined Kovai Medical Center, Coimbatore, and over the years served in various reputed medical colleges, holding the roles of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry.
Her most recent assignment before joining our institution was at Malabar Medical College Hospital, where she served as an Associate Professor. In 2024, she was appointed as Professor and Head of the Department of Biochemistry at our institution.
Dr. Sujaya P is recognized for her commitment to academic excellence, student mentorship, and departmental growth. Her extensive experience and dedication make her an invaluable asset to the department and the institution as a whole.
