Pharmacovigilance
- The department actively contributes to drug safety monitoring by functioning as an Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre (AMC) under the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI).
- Pharmacovigilance activities include:
- Systematic collection and reporting of adverse drug reactions.
- Creating awareness about ADR reporting among students and healthcare professionals.
- Organizing workshops, CMEs, and awareness drives on medication safety.
