The department of ophthalmology is committed to provide the best available care for all patients who suffer from eye related ailments.Our department provides a full spectrum of eye care services from routine eye exams to complex surgical interventions.With a commitment to clinical excellence,advanced research and medical education,we strive to improve vision and prevent blindness in our community.

Regular outpatient clinics are conducted on all week days (Monday to Saturday ) from 9-4 pm.

3.Prevention and public health awareness

We strive to raise awareness about the importance of regular eye examinations,preventive measures and healthy lifestyle choices that can maintain good vision.

Departmental Objectives
DEPARTMENTAL OBJECTIVES
  1. Provide comprehensive eye care: delivery high quality diagnostic, medical and surgical care for a wide range of ocular conditions
  2. prevent blindness and visual impairment: early detection and treatment of conditions like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration etc.
  3. Patient education: raise awareness about eye health, hygeine and treatment of disease
  4. Emergency eye care service: offer immediate care for ocular trauma and acute eye conditions
  5. Community and public health awareness: By conducting outreach programs, eye camps and screening programs in rural areas.
