Department Overview
The department of ophthalmology is committed to provide the best available care for all patients who suffer from eye related ailments.Our department provides a full spectrum of eye care services from routine eye exams to complex surgical interventions.With a commitment to clinical excellence,advanced research and medical education,we strive to improve vision and prevent blindness in our community.
Regular outpatient clinics are conducted on all week days (Monday to Saturday ) from 9-4 pm.

We strive to raise awareness about the importance of regular eye examinations,preventive measures and healthy lifestyle choices that can maintain good vision.
DEPARTMENTAL OBJECTIVES
- Provide comprehensive eye care: delivery high quality diagnostic, medical and surgical care for a wide range of ocular conditions
- prevent blindness and visual impairment: early detection and treatment of conditions like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration etc.
- Patient education: raise awareness about eye health, hygeine and treatment of disease
- Emergency eye care service: offer immediate care for ocular trauma and acute eye conditions
- Community and public health awareness: By conducting outreach programs, eye camps and screening programs in rural areas.
