Dr. Vishnu V Nair joined Palakkad Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on 1st August 2024 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology. He is an experienced radiologist with strong academic credentials and extensive clinical training in diagnostic imaging.

 

He completed his MBBS in 2015 under Kannur University, and obtained registration with the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council (Reg. No. 56120) on 30 December 2015. He then pursued his MD in Radiodiagnosis from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, completing it in 2019, with registration updated on 28 December 2019 under the same council.

 

Dr. Vishnu began his career as a Senior Resident in Radiodiagnosis at Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, from 1st March 2020 to 2nd March 2021, where he gained valuable clinical and imaging experience. He later served as Assistant Professor at Gokulam Medical College from 3rd May 2021 to 10th July 2022, further strengthening his academic and teaching skills.

 

At PIMS, he actively contributes to patient care, academic teaching, and departmental research. His clinical expertise, commitment to learning, and professional approach make him a valued member of the Department of Radiology.
