Department Overview
The Department of Dermatology at PIMS hospital delivers comprehensive care for skin, hair, and nail disorders while leading in education, research, and community wellness. Our clinicians and researchers collaborate across specialties—rheumatology, oncology, pediatrics—to provide:
• State-of-the-art clinical services, cosmetology including dermatologic surgery, laser therapy, patch testing, advanced treatment for psoriasis and vitiligo including phototherapy and biologicals.
• Robust training programs: regular CME workshops
• Innovative research: clinical trials in biologics, translational projects on skin microbiome
• Community outreach: monthly skin-care camps, school-based awareness drives, partnerships with local NGOs.
