The Surgical Oncology Department offers world-class cancer surgery services backed by a strong multi-disciplinary approach. As part of PIMS’s full-spectrum Oncology Center, surgical oncology works in close coordination with medical and radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, and palliative care teams to ensure individualized and high‑quality treatment
Our surgical oncology capabilities encompass management of:
- Breast cancer, including oncoplastic and reconstructive procedures
- Head & Neck cancers, tumor excision and microvascular reconstruction
- Gastrointestinal and colorectal tumors
- Hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) and uro‑gynecologic malignancies
- Bone and soft‑tissue sarcomas
Advanced techniques like laparoscopic and video‑assisted thoracic surgeries are employed to enhance recovery, minimize post-op discomfort, and reduce hospital stays, following global best practices
