Dr. Mridula Bhardwaj joined our institution as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology on 1st July 2025. She is an accomplished clinician and academician with a strong foundation in women’s health, maternal medicine, and advanced obstetric care.

 

She completed her MBBS from IPGMER & SSKM Hospital, under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), in 2017, and obtained registration with the West Bengal Medical Council (Reg. No. 78148) on 28 March 2018. She went on to pursue her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the same institution and university, completing it in 2023, followed by a DNB from the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in 2024.

 

Dr. Mridula began her professional journey as a Senior Resident at Palakkad Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) from 4 September 2023 to 30 June 2025, during which she gained extensive clinical and teaching experience. Her expertise spans antenatal and postnatal care, high-risk pregnancies, and gynaecological surgeries.

 

With her solid academic background and clinical proficiency, Dr. Mridula Bhardwaj contributes significantly to both patient care and medical education in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Her commitment to excellence, teamwork, and compassionate approach makes her a respected and valuable member of the faculty at PIMS.
