Dr. Vignesh H joined our institution on 20th November 2023 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. He is a committed psychiatrist with a strong academic background and extensive clinical experience in mental health care.
He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Ernakulam, under Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) in 2017, and obtained registration with the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council (Reg. No. 64538) on 30 November 2017. He later pursued his MD in Psychiatry from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, under KUHS, completing it in 2022, with registration updated on 6 February 2023.
Dr. Vignesh began his career as a Junior Resident in Psychiatry at Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram from May 2019 to June 2022, followed by his role as Senior Resident at Government Medical College, Manjeri from July 2022 to July 2023, gaining significant experience in diagnosis, treatment, and management of psychiatric disorders.
As an Assistant Professor at Palakkad Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), he actively contributes to patient care, academic teaching, and departmental activities. His clinical expertise, academic dedication, and empathetic approach make him a valuable member of the Department of Psychiatry.
